THERAPIST

Alexis Abbott, ASW

I specialize in supporting teens navigating challenges in their relationships, managing emotions, coping with stress, and adapting to life transitions.

Hi! I’m Alexis Abbott, an Associate Clinical Social Worker.

My passion lies in helping people navigate life’s complexities, whether that’s managing stress, healing from past traumas, strengthening relationships or finding clarity during life transitions. My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate space where we can work together to help you feel more empowered and connected to your path forward.

Life can feel overwhelming at times, leaving you feeling stuck, lost or uncertain about the way forward. Seeking therapy is a brave step, and I want to honor that courage by providing a safe, compassionate and nonjudgmental space where we can work together to overcome the challenges you’re facing. Whether it’s navigating life transitions, healing from past traumas, or working through anxiety, depression, or relationship struggles, I hope to support you as we explore what feels most important to you.

  • As a strengths-based, humanistic therapist, I adapt my approach to your unique life experiences, incorporating mindfulness practices and therapeutic models tailored to your needs. My goal is to help you find clarity, confidence, and resilience, empowering you to align with a life that feels most true to who you are. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I’m committed to walking alongside you with empathy and encouragement as we work towards healing and growth.

My journey to becoming a therapist was inspired by my own life challenges and the support I received during those times. I strive to offer the same compassionate presence, creating a safe and welcoming environment grounded in empathy, respect and non-judgment. Together, we’ll work collaboratively to uncover tools and strategies to address the areas of your life that matter most while building a stronger relationship with yourself and creating meaningful change.
